Security Officer

Responsible for insuring the safety and security of medical center employees, patients, visitors and property.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED is strongly preferred.
• Must have and maintain a valid state-issued Driver’s License.
• Must complete a comprehensive South Carolina Law Enforcement background check as required for SLED certification.
• Must complete the minimum training for Security Officers as required by the state during the first 30 days of employment.
• Excellent communication, reading, writing, critical thinking and basic comprehension skills required.
• Must be able to complete all reports and supplemental documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reports must be clearly written and free of grammatical errors.
