This position is responsible for the security of company facilities, assets and personnel during their assigned shift.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administration of facility security, environmental monitoring and life safety systems for the Las Vegas NV campus, outlying buildings and remote facilities in the US and abroad.
- Communicating with the general public, projecting a professional image and enhancing coordination efforts with counterparts at gaming commission
- Prepare incident, investigative and other informative reports.
- Oversee and document various manufacturing, distribution and destruction processes.
- Enforce security related procedure, policy and operating standards.
- Conducts a variety of data entry and data backup tasks.
- Conduct on-foot and vehicular patrols of all Light & Wonder buildings in your assigned area and restricted areas.
- Conducts emergency response, evacuation and disaster recovery responsibilities.
- Operator level maintenance and troubleshooting of security systems and devices.
- Administers first aid and conducts safety and environmental protection tasks as assigned in related plans.
- When required, supervise Level I Security Officers
Education/Experience/Certifications & Licenses:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of previous law enforcement, military, private security
- Working knowledge and ability to operate and troubleshoot security systems, hardware components and low voltage devices preferred.
- Proficiency in Windows & Microsoft Office required
- Strong oral/written communication and customer service skills are required.
- Must have current First Aid/CPR, Blood Borne Pathogens certification
- Must have a valid Nevada driver’s license in good standing
- Must pass a stringent vetting process that includes initial and annual FBI fingerprint records search and credit history check.
