BAE Systems Inc is hiring a Security Manager/Facility Security Officer that will support our Platforms & Services Headquarters and BAE Systems Inc Headquarters onsite in Falls Church, VA. In this role, you will manage all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), ensuring the requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) are implemented to prevent unauthorized disclosure of classified information.
Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and communicates security policies, procedures, and practices designed to protect classified and proprietary information, property, employees, and visitors.
- Understands and ensures compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and company information protection requirements.
- Implements the proper procedures for prevention of loss of company or government information.
- Conducts investigations of non-compliance issues and reviews security violations.
- Ensures that cost-effective security programs and procedures designed to provide reasonable protection for assets are functioning without having an adverse effect on the company operations.
- Implements and maintains a visitor control program which clearly protects sensitive areas and elements of intellectual property from unauthorized disclosure.
- Maintains a safe work environment and ensures compliance with safety objectives and policies.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience as an FSO/Security Manager or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current Secret or Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance. If current Clearance is Secret, must have the ability to obtain a Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance.
- Experience as an FSO/Security Manager within the Defense industry.
- Experience in Industrial Security.
- Experience managing classified programs.
- Working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM).
- Knowledge of contractor operations, industrial, physical, personnel, computer, and technical security requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong decision-making and reasoning skills.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Active Top Secret Clearance. FSO Certification or coursework towards this certification.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $113080 - $192280

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
