The primary purpose of your job is to ensure a safe and secure environment for the residents, their guests and staff of the Springwell Community.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 of Customer Service experience, including 1 in Security
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Attention to detail & strong sense of responsibility
- Minimum of High school degree or equivalent
- A valid MD state driver’s license required, with proof of a safe driving record
- Must enjoy interacting with seniors and possess excellent customer service skills
- Availability to work evenings or overnight shifts (4, 8 or 12 hours)
- First Aid & CPR certification preferred
General duties and responsibilities:
- Perform rounds every 2 hours, staffing Front Desk and observing cameras when not on rounds
- Present a pleasant and friendly attitude addressing residents, their guests, and employees of Springwell with a warm and appropriate greeting when monitoring the Front Desk
- General light maintenance duties - i.e. changing a light bulb, plunging a toilet, etc - when Maintenance Techs are not on campus
- Assist with residents and fellow staff members as needed
- Respond to emergencies and file Incident Reports in such an event
- Keep management team aware of other important issues
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 29 per week
