Responsibilities:
- Patrol client premises to observe and report criminal activity, public nuisances, violations of property rules or threat to property and tenants.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Write prompt, professional & accurate reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Execute client’s performance expectations by providing superior customer service when dealing directly with the public.
- Perform physical activities that require considerable use of legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, standing, stooping, and handling of materials.
- Use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or process comply with law, company regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Ability to stand and or walk for an 8 to 10-hour shift
- Ability to work outdoors
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed; 21+ years of age for armed
- Previous security experience preferred but not required
- Driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
