Security personnel protects our premises, assets and personnel. This employee will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal and inappropriate actions.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Immediately report security breaches to designated law enforcement agents
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
• Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment
• Assessing nature and extent of emergency situations and need for additional assistance
• Mitigating incidents by helping to control crowds, protecting valuables and performing other duties
• Assisting any persons in building or grounds needing direction or campus information
Qualifications:
• High School diploma, GED or suitable equivalent
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and professionalism
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
This job may require lifting of objects that exceed 25lbs. with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10lbs.
