Job Description: As a Condominium Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of our residents, staff, and property. The role involves monitoring the premises, controlling access to the building, and responding promptly to any security concerns or emergencies. Your vigilance and proactive approach will ensure a safe and secure living environment for our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor surveillance cameras, inspect the property, and patrol the grounds regularly.
- Manage access to the building for residents, guests, and service personnel.
- Ensure all security systems, like alarms and locks, are in working order.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances promptly.
- Maintain a log of visitors and report any suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.
- Assist residents and guests courteously and professionally.
- Handle emergencies effectively, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
- Enforce building rules and regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and recommend security improvements.
- Assist in emergency evacuation procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
- Valid Security Guard license.
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in stressful situations.
- Good physical condition and ability to patrol the premises.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with security equipment and technology.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
