Securitas Security Services Inc., is looking for a dynamic person to develop and lead a group of men and women security officers.
The successful candidate must be a proven leader with armed experience. They will undergo an extensive FBI background check.
As the Site Supervisor you are the daily liaison to the client representing Securitas Security. As the liaison, it shall be your responsibility to complete various tasks and take direction from the client and your district manager. Some of the essential duties are outlined below.
1. Participate in the selection and interview process for all potential candidates. During the process the Account Manager shall discuss the functions and overall responsibilities to ensure that the candidate can meet expectations. Upon conclusion he/she shall make their recommendation in writing to the Client and District Manager.
2. Review daily all logs and files for correctness. This shall include all SAR reports and incident reports. Identifying and correcting officers who have not followed the proper process. Ensure that the Client is aware of any emergent situations found during your review.
3. Training is essential for maintaining the overall security of the site. You shall develop Training Checklists and creating tests/quiz that will check the overall readiness of each officer and the team as a whole. It shall be your responsibility to coach each officer in meeting or exceeding expectations through identifying areas needing improvement and correcting unwanted behavior. This shall be accomplished through the following;
a. Corrective Action
b. Officer Performance Reports
c. Checklist
d. Spot check quiz
e. Site inspections
f. Shift inspections
g. Reviewing camera footage
h. Reviewing Officer’s documented rounds
4. Scheduling is a key element to the success of the security program in ensuring that all shifts are properly covered. All schedule changes shall be approved by the District Manager.
a. Assign daily duties as required for each shift.
5. Ensure that all personnel are meeting or exceeding the professional appearance.
6. Meet with the Client each morning to participate in the “State of Security” review.
7. Account for all equipment assigned to or that we are responsible for daily. Complete weekly a check of assigned equipment to ensure that it is functioning properly. Report immediately any equipment missing or in need of repair.
8. Complete security testing as directed by the client.
9. Complete investigations concerning officer violation and report to the District Manager your findings.
10. Performance Evaluations are utilized to identify areas needing improvement and assist the officer in their professional development. Every six months, officers are given a blank performance evaluation to do a self-assessment. Once completed it shall be the Account Manager’s responsibility to go over the self-evaluation and identify where the officer may be below expectations. You shall accurately identify those areas not meeting expectations and assist the officer in meeting or exceeding in those areas identified.
11. Prepare and arrange monthly training sessions for all officers to attend. Provide officers monthly safety briefings, using such topics as workplace violence, firearms safety and other safety related items. Monitor officer assigned training and progression provided through the LMS system.
12. Update and maintain Post Orders and Procedures.
13. Enter all timesheets into the Securitas Security program.
Other duties may be assigned by the client and district manager as needed.
