The Securitized Products Technology team focuses on supporting our clients with leading class analytics and trading systems. We work closely with the product desks (pass-throughs, CMOs etc.) and other internal clients to deliver great solutions
Securitized Products Technology is looking for a C++ developer to help build and enhance our next generation Securitized Products Analytics and research platform. The ideal candidates will be clear, organized thinkers who are able to communicate well within the team and with our business clients. Most importantly, they will be enthusiastic about building excellent software that makes a direct impact on the bottom line of the business we support.
- Working closely with quants to integrate new models into the analytics platform.
- Support and enhance our next generation data and analytics platforms for the Securitized Products Trading business, as well as Quants and Research.
- Strong C++ skills (must have).
- In depth understanding of MBS analytics and in particular prepayment and default models.
- Has worked with Intex extensively.
- Experienced in building or working on large scale distributed systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have good interpersonal skills and a team player.
- Understands and uses best-practice software engineering skills.
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Finance
- Database skills, SQL and one or more of Oracle, Sybase, Sybase-IQ, DB2 on Linux and Windows.
- Understands the nuts and bolts of software release and deployment for distributed computing systems.
