Section Assembly

Our client, a manufacturer located in Williamsport, PA, is in need of Skilled Assemblers for both 1st and 2nd shift. These are full time positions, with an opportunity to work overtime.
Job Duties:

• Assemble product to specifications according to blueprints and drawings, BOM's and work orders
• Identify and inspect required components and set-up for assembly. May use punch press, truss mills and other hand tools
• Monitor quality of raw materials and the manufacture of a quality product
• Maintain a clean, safe and neat work area
• Clean and store tools and equipment properly
• Follow safety rules and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• Ability to read and understand work instructions in English
• Preferred High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 months related experience
• Ability to read simple blueprints
• Read a tape measure
• Ability to operate hand tools
• Basic Math comprehension (add, subtract, multiply and divide) in all units of measure
• Frequent bending, pushing/pulling, reaching and lifting periodically up to 100 pounds with partner
• Regularly lifting up to 35 pounds

Must be available to work mandatory overtime as needed including weekends.
Hours:
2nd Shift - 3pm to 11pm
Pay: $16.50 to $18.15 per hour dependent on shift selection
Steel toed boots or sneakers are required.
