Description
We are preparing for the upcoming season at Capitol Federal Sports Complex and we're looking for Seasonal Athletic Field Groundskeepers to join our team! This is a great position for students who are looking for their first job or those looking for a summer job. It does require periodic cleaning of restrooms and/or emptying trash throughout the complex. Our grounds crew is instrumental in providing our athletes and fans a great experience at our facility. If you enjoy working outdoors and around various sporting events, this opportunity will be a great fit for you!
Schedule

• Flexible, based on your availability
• Typical season runs through November
  • Employees are encouraged to return for subsequent seasons
• Weeknights & weekends
• Approximately 20 hours/week, depending on your availability.
  • We're open to applicants who want to work more or less hours.

Essential Functions

• Perform various aspects of field maintenance including marking out fields, setting bases and pitching distances
• Duties also include cleaning restrooms and emptying trash in to dumpsters
• May require use of utility vehicles on complex property
• Proactively engage and interact with citizens to ensure their customer experience leaves a positive impact
• Performs other duties as needed to ensure quality municipal services for our citizens

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Must be able to work in various weather conditions, as well as variable hours that include evenings, nights, and weekends
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Must be at least 16 years old
