We are looking for Seasonal Associates for the 2024 season, mainly for Retail Customer Service and Cashier Services, Greenhouse House Plants and Annuals. Other departments include Events & Food Services and Nursery Trees, Shrubs, Perennials.
Most of our seasonal positions will work from March until the end of May, weather dependent. Hours will vary per week with more hours available during events and peak selling periods. One weekend shift is required weekly.
Colonial Gardens, located in Blue Springs, MO, was added to our brand family in 2016. Founded in 1969, renovations began in 2017 to create an agritourism destination. It is the Garden Center, reimagined! We offer a greenhouse, nursery, café and coffee shop, event space, and farmer’s market. It’s where plants, food and farms connect. Educational classes promoting local agriculture and sustainability as well as private events are also offered.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Required: High school education or equivalent
- Required: Valid driver’s license
- Required: Certain departments will require 18 years age, due to selling of alcohol
- Potentially Required: Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and work in an outdoor & indoor work environment
- Preferred: Experience in and passion for Retail, Customer Service, Horticulture, Agriculture, Nursery, Greenhouse, Plants
