The Specialist, Quality Assurance will work cross-functionally with our team supporting the operation in an accurate and timely manner. They will audit processes to assure effective operation and control and to verify compliance with established standard practices. This role will also support operations in identifying root cause and corrective actions to prevent further production of undesirable products, performing material and product evaluations, and recording, organizing, and analyzing results.
What you'll do
- Review quality issues with products and utilize appropriate escalation paths
- Accurately log data in Warehouse Management System (WMS) for movement of product (for example: shipping, inventory, returns, etc)
- Document quality issues with the product and communicate with Operations, Customer Service and Customers
- Identify, communicate and execute process improvements
- Communication within operations team members on quality concerns and corrective actions
- Support the Quality Assurance process and procedures across operations
- Identify opportunities to continue to improve the efficiency of operations
- Regularly check for trouble product around the Verification Center and bring to Quality Assurance department to process
- Help train and develop new team members in the Verification Center
- Support other departments (Inbound, Outbound for example) within the Verification Center
About you
- HS Diploma or GED preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in within the fashion industry preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- High degree of patience and comfort performing repetitive tasks requiring a high degree of focus
- Flexibility and willingness to learn
- Strong data analysis skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the Operations team
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude are a must
- Sense of urgency to perform tasks at or above the outlines productivity targets and to timelines
- Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work well in teams and good communication skills
