Make an impact by joining The Kidz Club's mission to 'Let Kidz be kids'! Our seasonal nurses bring energy and excitement to our summer curriculum. They are responsible for managing the care of pediatric patients, according to their individual needs and care plan using a multidisciplinary method. The seasonal nursing staff is made up of Registered Nurse Case Managers and Licensed Practical Nurses. This position provides direct client care including a holistic approach to the care of children and their families, including educational, psychosocial, behavioral, physical, mental, and emotional care/needs of the child. In addition to providing daily skilled nursing care, summer at The Kidz Club PPEC is filled with planned activities, themes, and field trips.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure eligible in the state of Kentucky.
- Recent graduate with a provisional RN license.
- Basic personal computer skills and comfort with learning electronic charting systems.
- Preferred: At least six months of current experience as a practicing RN with pediatric experience.
- A current negative Tuberculosis skin test (PPD) is required.
- Current CPR (Basic Life Support) is required.

- Seasonal Full-time
Starting Rate:
- $21.00 - $30.00
- Rate increases with experience based on pre-set qualifiers.

- Seasonal Sign-On Bonus of up to $500.00
- Bonus will be received in two parts: $250 on the first paycheck, and an additional $250 if seasonal commitment is completed and the employee has worked a minimum of 160 hours
Hours of Operation:
- Monday - Friday (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
- Saturday (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
The Kidz Club PPEC provides daily skilled nursing care for children, ages birth to under 21, who have been diagnosed with medical complexities. PPECs initiate daily conversation among pediatricians, therapists, and family, providing continuity of care through case management, skilled nursing, and enrichment for the betterment of the child.
