Position Title:Parking Lot Attendant
Reports To: Badlands Operations Manager
Position Description:
Attends designated parking area in terms of customer service and operations. Directs drivers of vehicles to appropriate parking areas. Provides information to visitors, fellow team members, and members of management. Monitors and/or patrols lot flow and ensures vehicles are parked in designated spaces and not blocking traffic flow.
Position Responsibilities:
· Ensures the first vehicles of the day are parked in a manner that allows maximum use of the lot.
· Performs vehicle checks according to the procedure.
· Uses radio to communicate customer and departmental problems or concerns to management.
· Pays special attention to customer communicational signage to ensure its correct and visible to customers.
· Takes a commanding role by controlling jeopardies in areas of responsibility.
· Monitors fullness of lot and plans for additional parking as needed.
· Watches all surroundings for suspicious activity and reports incidents to management always keeping risk management and safety a top priority.
· Maintains composure during stressful situations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Superior verbal communication skills to include a courteous, yet authoritative tone.
· The ability to read situations and act accordingly with position and company goals in mind.
· Experience in a customer service role.
· Open, flexible work availability. Weekends are a must!
· Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to step up onto a vehicle, reach, bend, twist, and lift up to 30 lbs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
