ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Provide a friendly greeting to people arriving at the Badlands and direct individuals, guests or vendors to the proper place following off-Road Park guidelines
· Provide a friendly greeting to people leaving the Badlands
· Communicate, in a positive manner, information about the Badlands
· Respond to the Badlands radio in a polite, courteous tone
· Send riders to the office for check-in prior to entering the park during office hours
· Check all drivers and riders for wristbands
· Check all vehicles to ensure there is no alcohol, and confiscate if any is found. Ensure that all vehicles have flags per park rules
· Notify the Office Manager immediately of any incidences or extreme/unusual circumstances that could potentially harm someone or the off-Road Park or if a medical, fire or other emergency occurs
· Direct traffic in a safe and efficient manner
· Notify the office of needed supplies or maintenance or concerns
· Open and/or close the gates according to hours of operation, ensuring that guests are not coming in before the park is open
· Ensure that park rules in area of responsibility are adhered to for the safety of all employees and customers
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Candidates must be flexible to work a variety of hours as business demands including evenings, weekends, and holidays
· Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
· Candidates must have the ability to stand for long periods of time, walk on a variety of terrain, grasp with hands, bend, reach, and lift 30 lbs
