ND State Parks – Natural Resource Technician

Full-time/Part-time (20-40 hours/week)

Salary $15 - $18 per hour depending on qualifications

Seasonal housing may be available

Are you passionate about the outdoors? Help maintain the beauty of our state parks as a Natural Resource Technician with ND Parks and Recreation. In this role, you’ll preform tree and shrub maintenance, tree planting, apply herbicides, and maintain spraying records.

Working environments vary considerably in this occupation. Position requires frequent overnight travel to state parks.

Minimum Qualifications:

Studies in natural resource management, agriculture, or related field

Ability to operate and maintain equipment such as chain saws and sprayers.

Willing to obtain a commercial applicator's pesticide certification.

2 years of ATV use

Driver’s license
