What we're looking for
We're seeking a hard working, energetic employee to help us serve our guests with our growing portfolio of vacation homes. The Laundry Driver is responsible for picking up and dropping off the laundry according to scheduled runs. The Laundry Drivers will also be completing warehouse tasks including assisting housekeeping vendors with their supply pickups, assembling guest amenity kits and sorting returned dirty laundry into bins for pickup.
This is a seasonal position. We are hiring for this position nowand employment is expected to end on or around 09/29 or 10/13. While the company is under no obligation to extend your employment through the season nor beyond the end date, there may be additional opportunities within this or other roles.
Compensation
- $18 / hour ($19 / hour with CDL)
- Bonus details: $250 signing bonus after 30 days + $250 retention bonus after 90 days

What you'll do
- At our Berlin, MD warehouse - Load box truck(s) with completed linen packages. Packages are loaded into rollable bins(hoppers). This position will then load these bins into our box trucks and secure them for delivery. In addition to these bins; other miscellaneous supplies will need to be transported between facilities from time to time.
- Transport laundry and supplies between our main Berlin warehouse and our Ocean City receiving hubs.
- Utilizing Vacasa-leased van to complete a delivery route - Dropping off linen bags for housekeepers in mornings and picking up dirty laundry bags at the same properties in the afternoon following the cleans.
- Load and unload linen carts and other items out of the truck to assigned properties and the central laundry.
- Unload clean linen and record inventory.
- Maintain resort vehicle(s): gas, oil, cleanliness - interior and exterior; fill out daily vehicle reports and report any malfunctions to management
- Adheres to the D.O.T. rules and regulations
- Notify supervisor of accidents and complete appropriate documentation
- Performs other duties assigned
Skills you'll need
- Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
- Minimum one year experience driving large (Class D) delivery vehicles.
- Must have a valid class D drivers license with a clean driving record (Class D drivers license is not required for this position as trucks will be under that size threshold, but experience with driving large delivery vehicles is required)
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required
- Must be familiar with technology or have the ability to learn applications and software quickly
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Availability to work Sunday through Saturday, early mornings and evenings as needed.
