Compensation:
- Seasonal Guest Service Attendants are tipped positions starting at $11.40 per hour plus tips (tips average anywhere between $5-$20 an hour depending on the service offered and time of the year)
Key Responsibilities of the Guest Services Attendant:
- Meets and greets all guests in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
- Communicates in a clear and professional manner that assists guests in playing the course.
- Assists with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse, cart barn, club storage and staging area.
- Assists the Tournament Coordinator in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
- Maintains the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area.
- Maintains the cart storage area and cart wash down area in a neat, clean and orderly condition.
- Prepares golf carts for play following the standards of Troon Golf.
- Ensure carts are properly stored and refueled.
- Inspect carts and equipment to detect wear and damage to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper working order;
communicate damage and concerns to Golf Pro on duty in a timely matter. - Provides carts that are in excellent working condition to guests by directing them to the daily staging area and
returning them to the cart barn free of debris and items. - Performs range maintenance such as: presenting practice facility with practice balls, bag stands, den caddies and/or ball pyramids, and maintains ball inventory over the course of the day.
- Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.
- Assists in educating players regarding the game.
- Directs start of play when necessary.
- Maintains accurate records of golfers renting clubs.
- Services the customer who is renting golf clubs and cleans rental clubs upon return.
- Assists with food and beverage activities.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Participates in required employee orientation and safety trainings.
- Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications of the Guest Services Attendant:
- One month related experience or training.
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Excellent listening, communication, and comprehension skills required.
Hours:
- Ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule from Opening Day-Oct 15
- Hours will vary between 20-40 hrs. based on the facility requirements, job performance, work experience, and availability.
- Day off requests are given upon notice.

- Timely and reliable attendance.
- Maintains good personal hygiene and professional look; reports to work wearing a clean, neat uniform that follows uniform standards.
