POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for guiding all Observatory guests throughout the experience from the Observatory Lobby to the 86th/102nd Floor and back down to the Main Lobby.

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for guiding all Observatory guests throughout the experience from the Observatory Lobby to the 86th/102nd Floor and back down to the Main Lobby.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Speaking and guiding Observatory guests throughout the attraction providing clear directions in a friendly and positive manner
- Answering guest questions in rapid and consistent succession
- Taking customer complaints and directing them to the appropriate personnel
- Maintaining high levels of enthusiasm during entire shift
- Reliability and punctuality
- Standing outside in all weather conditions for short periods of time
- Monitoring the staircases as guests walk up or down
- Observe and report any improper conditions within the assigned workspace
- Adhering to all uniform and grooming standards (i.e. no visible tattoos, hair appropriate length, clean shaven, good hygiene, and following a uniform wash cycle)
- Following ESB policies and management directives
OTHER FUNCTIONS
- Answering guest inquiries over the phone and redirecting phone calls as needed
- Setting up stanchions and properly aligning them to suit guest traffic
- At management's request, preparing written reports of unusual activities
- Upon request, pleasantly assisting guests with non-ESB related inquiries
EDUCATION

- Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as early as 4:45am or as late as 2:15am
- Must be able to stand for the duration of an 8-hour shift
- Must be able to work on high floors and travel in tight spaces such as elevators
- Must be able to read and follow a post assignment schedule
