Seamstress/Tailor

We are looking to add on 1 Part Time Seamstress / Tailor to our team... very flexible hours and schedule available!

Priority One Emergency provides uniforms and duty gear to Public Safety officers in the fields of Police, Fire and EMS. Take pride in your work knowing that you have assisted those who protect and serve us!

General Job Duties Include (but may not be limited to):
- Sewing Patches, Removing Patches, Hemming, Letting Out Seams, Tapering and other general alterations
- Record all work on an alteration log
- Uphold specified productivity guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized and stocked work area and inform a manager when additional supplies are needed
- Special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Proficiency in measuring and calculating fabric alterations
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precise alterations and reading of order tickets
- Excellent sewing skills and knowledge of garment construction techniques & fabrics
- Ability to use commercial sewing machines (provided)
- Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
- Prior experience as a tailor or seamstress is preferred, but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
