Join us in our fast-paced support to the Space Development Agency (SDA)!  Since SDA’s standup just 4 years ago, it has become known as the Department of Defense’s “constructive disruptor”.  SDA is achieving space acquisitions at a pace never seen within the government.  SDA’s Enterprise Operations (EO) cell leads these efforts by supporting the SDA mission for all SDA facilities within the NCR.

QinetiQ US has an immediate opening for a Senior Facilities Analyst (SFA) to provide critical support to SDA across the NCR and other SDA sites in Florida, Alabama, Colorado, and California. The SFA will work closely to maintain operations at the Meadows 1 facility. SFA work with contracted, cleared service providers to manage Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), electrical, plumbing, and security system needs and malfunctions. The SFA will balance the need to operate autonomously in the best interest of SDA while ensuring appropriate coordination with SDA leadership at key event milestones.  Duties include:

• Directs the activities of corporate facilities and administrative services, including facility management and planning, office services, purchasing, receiving and distribution of information, mail PBX operations, and copying/printing services.
• In smaller organizations may also be responsible for security, graphics, procurement.
• Analyzes internal processes and recommends and implements procedural or policy changes to improve operations, such as supply changes or the disposal of records.
• Negotiates with vendors on major services and supply contracts. Manages and hires staff, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Responsible for all building leases and lease-hold improvements.
• Plans, administers and controls budgets for contracts, equipment and supplies.
• Participates in architectural and engineering planning and design, including space and installation management.
• Oversees construction and renovation projects to improve efficiency and to ensure that facilities meet environmental, health, and security standards, and comply with government regulations.
• Establishes and implements organizational systems to maintain all company files and records.
• Works with senior management to oversee department operations and to establish the most effective use of materials, technology, and human resources.

• 10 years direct related experience
• Prior experience with managing large facility footprints.
• Tracking and managing construction projects
• Ability to evaluate contractor designs and support schedule/risk related issues
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Experience with the WHS/GSA
• Experience with US Army Corp of Engineers
• Basing and facility stand up
