Pay Range: $44,031- 70,890 annually
Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle
As a Scrum Master II at NFM you will provide leadership, support, and guidance to IT teams in a manner consistent with Agile beliefs and principles. You will effectively facilitate Agile ceremonies and act as an Agile coach to lead team(s) that are working on IT project(s) that are small, medium, or large in size, complexity and impact. All while being a servant leader who serves the needs of team members such that team members grow both personally and professionally.
This is a remote position requiring the candidate to reside in NE, IA, MO, KS or TX.
Job Duties: A Day in the Life

  • Lead: By influence, have team members step outside their comfort zones to learn new skills, take on new responsibilities, etc. to grow personally and professionally
  • Teach: Coach team members in Agile processes (Scrum, Kanban, IP, TDD), to be self-organizing, to be cross-functional, and to move toward an Agile mindset
  • Organize: Daily Stand-Up – team is self-organizing, safe to call out impediments, team members talk to one another, team determine what they will get done
  • Collaborate: Effective facilitation of Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo, Sprint Retrospective, Sprint Review, Scrum of Scrums, and Sprint Execution
  • Create: Experimentation mindset – learning new techniques, finding ways to try them and having a positive attitude towards mistakes (learning opportunities)

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?
  • Associate’s Degree in Information Systems or related field required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
  • One Agile certification (CSM, CSP, PMI-ACP, CSPO, CSP) preferred
  • 4+ years of IT or NFM experience or have achieved a technical certification or developed a unique skill set - required
  • Knowledge of several Agile Frameworks required
  • 3+ years as a project leader / team member on multiple projects and projects of medium or greater size, complexity and impact - required
  • Strong problem solving / analytical skills - required
  • Knowledge of the software development processes and methodologies - required
  • Knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software required
  • Available to provide on-call support 24 hours per day, 7 days a week as needed
  • Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
