DESCRIPTION
The Shift Leader / Barista is responsible for directing an efficient workflow and assisting the Store
Manager in a variety of store operations duties. This position serves as a role model of Barista responsibilities and serves as the Team Leader when the Store Manager is unavailable. The Barista component of this role creates a memorable customer experience by providing fast, friendly service and consistent, quality products. This role is responsible for performing all job duties in a manner consistent with current company processes and procedures and maintaining all food safety and sanitation standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure consistent and quality customer experience by executing brand beverage recipes and techniques, resolving customer relations issues, and leading the team in delivering the Scooter’s

“Amazing” customer service experience.

• Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume period by staying calm, managing efficient team workflow, anticipating customer needs, assisting with all facets of order preparation / delivery and utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rush
• Assist the Store Manager in onboarding and training new team members
• Develop effective working relationships with team members, identifying individual motivation factors and working collaboratively with team members to deliver an amazing customer experience
• Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team sales
• Understand and execute cash handling, point of sale system, and operational procedures for every work station in an accurate, consistent manner
• Ensure team embers follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Serve as a Code Holder, following all opening and closing procedures
• Demonstrate punctuality, dependable, and adaptability
• Assist Store Manager with administrative duties as requested by

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
