How will you make an impact?
You'll partner with our Manufacturing Sciences team to analyze opportunities and create/execute experiments to support Process Improvement projects to improve process efficiencies and production yields. The ideal candidate will also participate in investigations of non-conformances and root cause analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and become proficient with internal software systems. Assist in updating manufacturing documents to replace QC restriction digest with external sequencing (600 SKUs).
- Perform experiments and routine assays under the mentorship of a lead scientist to support investigations and process improvement goals.
- Perform statistical analyses on collected datasets.
- Data tracking and trending structures.
- Present technical data in cross-functional meetings.
- Communicate clearly and provide progress updates and data summaries.
- Collaborate effectively with our team of scientists and technicians.
- Maintain laboratory notebook per company policy.
Start Date: This internship is set to begin in either May or June 2024 for a duration of 10-12 weeks – dependent upon student availability per academic calendars.
Compensation & Relocation: This internship offers an hourly rate between $23.75 - $26.50. Additionally, a relocation stipend is offered in the amount of $5,000 if necessary. Student must be located 50+ miles away from the physical location of the internship to be eligible for the relocation stipend.
How will you get here?
- Bachelor student completing degree between December 2024 and June 2025.
- 2+ years experience in Molecular Biology, Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Material Science, or equivalent (i.e. previous internships, projects, fellowships, assistantships, etc.) Must be familiar with standard biological lab techniques.
- Consistent track record of results demonstrating integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.
- Energized through championing change, driven in getting results, and savvy in navigating ambiguity.
- Ability to interact with and influence colleagues via excellent interpersonal skills.
- High degree of emotional intelligence and strong professional presence.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $23.75–$26.50.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
