Job Description
Sanford High School is seeking a teacher with outstanding credentials who thrives working in a collaborative professional environment to teach science to high school students. We are looking for a teacher with excellent communication skills, the ability to facilitate group work, and with experience using technology to enhance instruction. This candidate should be comfortable teaching with the NextGen Science standards along with a variety of science classes to students grades 9 to 12 and have a passion for teaching science in a High School where learning is linked to a student's post-secondary plan.

    Job Requirements
    • The ideal candidate would preferably hold a Maine Department of Education Teacher Certification in both Life Science (395) and Physical Science (350).
      State of Maine CHRC approval is required.
      Looking for a team player, strong leader, innovative, strong with technology, and able to teach a variety of Science courses.
    • Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required
