Duties: Provide instruction in science areas for students at the high school level
Qualifications:
- B.A. or B.S. Degree
- Qualified for a Standard Teaching Certificate with the needed endorsements in Science as issued by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board. The classes this person will teach are dependent on the endorsements held.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, work effectively with, and relate to high school students of different age/ability levels and with varying needs
- Desire to work with students of high school age, good organizational patterns, and a solid knowledge of math and science
- Successful teaching/student teaching experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with members of teaching staff, parents, and administration
- Knowledge/Experience in Professional Learning Communities (PLC)
- Experience and/or training in performance standards and familiarity with performance-based education preferred
Employment Term: Full-time - 185 day contract
Beginning Date: 2024-2025 reporting date for new staff - August 15, 2024
