ProCare Therapy:
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in a vibrant school setting. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting students with speech and language impairments, helping them reach their full potential.
What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to measure student progress and inform treatment plans.
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers,parents,and other professionals.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.

What We're Looking For:

• A valid SLPA license for the state of Virginia.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting (preferred).
• Knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Patience,creativity,and a positive attitude.
