Hayven Rides LLC is seeking a responsible and dedicated individual to join our team as a School Van Driver. Hayven Rides is constructed of a close-knit team of individuals with over 10 years in transportation services. Our mission is to create a seamless, reliable opportunity for communities who need it most. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of school children to and from their destinations. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Arizona driver's license, CPR training, and the ability to meet the company's high standards for safety, customer service, and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
1. Safely transport school children to and from designated locations.
2. Follow predetermined routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
3. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
4. Maintain a clean and well-maintained School Van.
5. Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers during transit.
6. Provide excellent customer service to parents, school staff, and passengers.
7. Collaborate with the operations team to address any scheduling or routing changes.
8. Communicate effectively with parents and school officials as needed.
Requirements:
1. Valid Arizona Driver's License:
• Must possess a valid and current Arizona driver's license.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
2. CPR Training:
• Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) required.
• Must be willing to update CPR certification as needed.
3. Background Check:
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check.
4. Drug Screening:
• Candidates must undergo and pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Onboarding Process:
Candidates selected for the School Van Driver position will undergo a thorough onboarding process, which includes:
1. First Aid Training:
• Completion of first aid training to handle emergencies effectively.
2. Driving Test:
• Evaluation of driving skills to ensure safe and competent operation of the School Van.
3. Customer Service Training:
• Training on providing excellent customer service to passengers and their families.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in school transportation or a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Punctuality and reliability are crucial for this position.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good vision and hearing.
