The HFM BOCES School Library System has an opening for a School System Library Media Specialist. This is a 10-month position with up to 10 days in the summer, if needed, with supervisor approval.
Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide library services and assistance to component schools and internal programs.
- Provide training in the use of existing or emerging technologies.
- Provide reference and consultation services for system libraries
- Assist with professional development, committee activities, and advocacy efforts.
- Work both independently and collaboratively with school Library Media Specialists.
- Co-teaching collaboration with school librarians
- Other responsibilities as assigned
