Are you an experienced and dynamic professional seeking a rewarding opportunity in Crown Point, IN? Look no further! We are, in collaboration with local school districts, is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant from an accredited institution.
- Valid state SLPA licensure.
- Previous experience working as an SLPA in educational settings preferred.
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and special education regulations.
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Assist in the assessment and documentation of students munication skills and progress.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities and curriculum.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and student outes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.
- municate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding therapy remendations and strategies.
