Position:School Psychology Student Summer Worker
Reports To: Lead Psychologist
Salary Schedule / Grade: $25/hour
F.L.S.A Status: Non-exempt
SUMMARY:
This unique internship opportunity is for School Psychologist students. The School Psychology Student Summer Worker will work directly under the Lead Psychologist to write the background information for re-evaluations of Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs). This position requires strict confidentiality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather background information and data from various internal systems
- Write succinct reports outlining educational histories for high school re-evaluations (background information)
- Utilize ongoing feedback to improve performance
- Collaborate with licensed School Psychologists
- Verify dates of ETR
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's Degree in School Psychology
- Excellent clerical skills, attendance and punctuality, writing skills
- Current BCI/FBI background check
- High level of attention to detail
PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES/DEMANDS
- Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull various items up to a maximum of 20 pounds (50 pounds on wheels)
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, see, read, speak, reach, stretch with hands and arms, crouch, kneel, climb, and stoop
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work is performed in a general school/office setting
- Some assignments are subject to completion within strict timelines
