The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing occupational therapy services to students in special and general education programs, based upon identified student needs. The Occupational Therapist assists teams in determining, developing, improving, and maintaining skills needed for daily living and access to their education to include but not limited to: fine/gross motor skills, sensory integration skills, and activities of daily living.

- ESY Occupational Therapist
- July 8th to August 1st
- Monday - Thursday (8:30am-12:30 pm)
- Abington Heights Middle School
Job Functions:
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing occupational therapy services to students in special and general education programs, based upon identified student needs. The Occupational Therapist assists teams in determining, developing, improving, and maintaining skills needed for daily living and access to their education to include but not limited to: fine/gross motor skills, sensory integration skills, and activities of daily living.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develop lesson plans and prepare instructional materials;
- Monitor student programming and progress;
- Provide written input for ESY report progress as defined by IEP;
- Provide individual and/or group direct or consultative services;
- Collaborate with special education teachers as well as other related service providers;
- Complete Medical Access logs for eligible students; and,
- Perform related duties, as assigned
