School Nutrition Manager
JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY
The job of School Nutrition Manager is done for the purpose/s of supervising and guiding a School Nutrition team who is tasked with preparing and serving high quality and nutritious school meals to students and staff members daily. The School Nutrition Manager oversees the food service activities at their assigned location with specific responsibilities for planning, organizing, and assigning work for food preparation activities; overseeing and assisting food service assistants with food preparation, cooking, serving, cleaning and storing; executing ordering correctly to ensure proper quantities are on hand and quality of food items received meet expectations; providing written reports in a timely manner; and complying with local, state, and federal food safety and sanitation regulations as well as USDA mandated requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED, required.
- ?Training in School Nutrition management or related food service training required.
- One-year experience in School Nutrition required.
- Experience with current point-of-sale and back office software preferred
- Experience in food ordering, inventory, and office management preferred
- Valid Driver's License Required
- Current ServSafe Manager Certification Required
- Completion of GaDOE Manager Pathway and Culinary Pathway within 5 years of date of hire required.
EMPLOYMENT TERMS
- 190 day work calendar
- Annual Salary based on years of creditable experience
- Annual Salary range: $28,196 - $37,873
