Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with medical procedures, such as catheter care and phlebotomy
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations
- Document patient information and maintain accurate medical records
- Assist with airway management and sterile processing
- Provide hospice care and support to patients and their families
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
Skills:
- Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping
- Knowledge of catheter care procedures
- Familiarity with airway management techniques and equipment
- Experience in providing hospice care to patients
- Understanding of sterile processing protocols and procedures
- Ability to work in acute care settings and handle emergency situations
- Basic life support certification
