SCHOOL MONITORS
Civil Service Positions*

Full Time
Assist students with special needs in classroom
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

Part Time & Subs
Assist students in the cafeteria and/or on bus
Hours: 11:00am – 2:00pm

* Position is contingent on approval from the Nassau County Civil Service Commission. Applicants must meet the Nassau County Civil Service Residency Requirement of 1 year and obtain fingerprint clearance from the NYS Education Department.

All School Monitors have opportunity to join the NYS Employees’ Retirement System
