QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Valid NJDOE Educational Services School Library Media Specialist Certificate.
2. Demonstrated ability related to collection development, information technology, research methodology and library program designs for children and adolescents.
3. Previous high school media center experience preferred.
4. Familiarity with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), design challenges, integrative design, and STEM, desired.
5. Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and communication skills.
6. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
7. Must meet NJ Residency requirements as per the New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70).

REPORTS TO: Principal/Designated Administrator
TERMS OF
EMPLOYMENT: Terms of tenure track position per collective bargaining agreement. Starting salary prorated: Step 1BA - $71,017 / Step 1MA - $79,122.
