Responsibilities:

• Ensures the safety of school children at assigned locations; creates safe gaps in traffic by using approved hand signals, signs, or by normal operation of traffic signals; performs related work as required.

Qualifications:  

• High School Diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position.
• Knowledge of traffic regulations as they relate to the control of traffic and pedestrians; ability to work tactfully and effectively with school children, school personnel, vehicle operators, and the general public.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 

Education: 

• High School Diploma or GED

Travel Requirements:  

This position will involve no travel.
