School Crossing Guard

Muhlenberg Township, Berks County, PA is seeking qualified applicants for a part-time Crossing Guard.

This position will serve the community by observing, protecting and assisting children of Muhlenberg Township as they walk to and from school each day.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Assist children as needed with crossing streets, sidewalks and alleys

· Guide and control vehicular or pedestrian traffic at streets and school crosswalks

· Promote and maintain a safe environment

· Observe and report situations as needed

Requirements:

· Ability to work staggered shifts; between 7am and 9am as well as between 2pm and 4pm

· Ability to pass a criminal background check and state required child clearances

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 17 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
