School Bus Monitor

We are seeking Monitors to provide support on a School Bus transporting students to and from school each day on established routes in the Sharon City, Sharpsville and Hermitage Area School Districts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF A SCHOOL BUS MONITOR

• Safely monitor students daily School Bus activities to ensure proper student conduct and adhere to proper safe behavior standards on the bus
• Observe and learn established bus routes so when a sub driver operates the bus directional and routing assistance can be given
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of students on/off the bus
• Maintain positive relationships by representing STA in a professional manner while communicating with students, parents, teachers, school districts, co-workers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license
• The ability to successfully pass pre-employment background checks, drug/alcohol screen and a pre-employment physical
