Job Description: Blazer Jobs, in partnership with the local school district, is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time position during the 2023-2024 school year in Flint, MI. If you are passionate about supporting the social and behavioral development of students, we invite you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to analyze challenging behaviors
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to address individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to implement effective behavior strategies
- Provide training and support to school staff on behavior management techniques
- Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and make data-driven decisions
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
- Experience working in a school setting is preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse team
