We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) near Bellevue, WA to fill a rewarding contract position within a school setting.
Position Overview: As a School-Based PTA, you will play a vital role in supporting the Physical Therapy services provided to students. Working under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists (PTs), you will collaborate to implement therapeutic interventions, assess student needs, and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct Physical Therapy services to students in accordance with established treatment plans.
- Collaborate with PTs, educators, and other school professionals to address individual student needs.
- Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of personalized intervention goals.
- Document student progress accurately and maintain thorough and organized records.
- Foster a positive and supportive therapeutic environment.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistance from an accredited program.
- Current and valid Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the respective state.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.
