Job Description
Soliant Health is seeking a Physical Therapist who is interested in working in a school setting, full time for the current school year. In this position,you will play a vital role in providing prehensive physical therapy services to students within an educational setting located near Colton, California.
- Start/End Dates: ASAP - 3/1/24 (possibility of extension)
- Hours: Full-Time, 37.5hrs per Week, Open to Part Time Therapist
- Multiple School Sites
- On the Clock Travel Time and Mileage ReimbursementProvided
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans and interventions based on students' needs, goals, and educational objectives
- Monitor and document students' progress,and modifications to intervention strategies as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, guardiansand other therapists to develop and implement strategies for student success
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input regarding students' physical therapy goals, acmodations, and necessary supports.
Requirements:
- A Master's or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Physical Therapist.
- Specialization or experience in pediatric physical therapy is preferred.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education and students with disabilities (e.g., Individuals with Disabilities Education Act).
