Caseload: Kindergarten through 12th Grade
We are currently seeking a dedicated Speech Occupational Therapist to join our team at a local school district near South Bend, IN. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing prehensive therapy services to students across the K-12 spectrum, addressing both speech and occupational therapy needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address munication and sensory-motor skills.
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic and functional goals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant records.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Occupational Therapist in the state of Indiana.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
