School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) | American Fork, UT
ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate full-timeOccupational Therapistthis school yearfor a contract position located inthe American Fork, Utaharea. For anyone commuting for this position, we can provide paid travel and housing stipends to help compensate for the drive.

Description:

• Full-Time
• Start ASAP
• Virtual Interview
• $33-39 per hour, experience / education based pay
• 2nd semester contract

Caseload(s):

• Preschool through age 22; caseload can range from any of these ages.
• The caseload is about 100 students.
• There are paraeducators who help with fine motor skill development and practice with the OT providing additional fine motor therapy.
• OT will not see all 100 students every week.
• There is a need for writing IEPs and attend IEP meetings as well as co-sign notes that motor paraeducators write.

EverydayResponsibilities:

• Deliver proactive and evidence-based therapyto students
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan and implement treatment goals
• Conducting of evaluations
• Contribute to IEPs & 504 plans
• Keep organized, timely documentation of response to treatments and progress notes

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program
• Current licensure to practice occupational therapy
• Experience working with children and adolescents with disabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
