Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Scheduling/Dispatch Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our projects by effectively managing schedules, budgets, and deadlines. The ideal candidate will be a proactive learner, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Demonstrated willingness to engage in hands-on learning.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications for scheduling and dispatching tasks.
- Strong working knowledge of analyzing data with Excel.
- Ability to multitask and maintain composure in a high-pressure setting.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with service emergency procedures and guidelines.
- Fluency in English, both oral and written.
- Dependable transportation for commuting purposes.
Core Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and dispatch orders for services.
- Manage emergency and non-emergency calls, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Resolve issues and fulfill requests by providing solutions or relaying information.
- Prioritize calls based on urgency and significance.
- Call and receive calls with clients.
- Oversee the route and status of field units to optimize their schedule.
- Communicate vital information to field employees regarding stops and other requirements.
- Maintain effective communication within assigned company departments.
- Liaise with supervisors or customers to address problems and service requests.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by managing concerns and responding to special requests.
- Review project scope, manage communications, and organize paperwork.
- Enter service work requirements into the job tracking system.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of calls, activities, and other information.
- Perform administrative duties for the operations department, including data entry, filing, and report generation.
- Remain calm and composed under stress, ensuring a calm environment for others.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in the service industry, particularly in roles requiring coordination and communication.
- Transposition, service or freight dispatching experience a plus.
- Bilingual skills are preferred.

- Job Type: Full-time
- Compensation: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Day shift, Monday to Friday
- Relocation Requirement: Must relocate to Decatur, TX before commencing work
- Work Location: On-site
