Scheduling Supervisor

We are seeking a Scheduling Supervisor to join our team at a home health care company. The ideal candidate will have a background in home health care, with experience in scheduling and coordination of patient care. This position will be responsible for managing the scheduling team, ensuring that patient care schedules are accurate and efficient.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the scheduling team, ensuring that patient care schedules are accurate and efficient
• Develop and implement scheduling policies and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Monitor scheduling performance metrics and develop strategies to improve efficiency and quality of service
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that patient needs are being met and schedules are being adjusted as necessary
• Provide training and guidance to schedulers to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge to perform their job duties effectively

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in home health care scheduling, with demonstrated knowledge of scheduling best practices and software systems
• Experience managing a team of schedulers in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, caregivers, and team members
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software
