Scheduling Specialist / Home Care Agency

As a 'best-in-class,' non-medical Home Care Agency serving the Silicon and Tri-Valley areas, we are seeking an EXPERIENCEDStaffing and Scheduling Specialist. • WORKDAYS: Monday - Friday // ***must be available to work periodic weekends
• WAGE: $24 - $27 / hr + quarterly bonus based on achievable KPI's // ***bonus usually adds a ~$1+ per hour
• PAYDAY: every other Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position uses data and software, along with excellent judgment and discretion, to match the best suited caregiver with our elderly and disabled clients.

• Manage the creation and maintenance of client and caregiver schedules with an emphasis on creating high quality matches and development of extraordinary relationships.
• Enter all shifts in our proprietary scheduling software, and update as needed.
• Negotiate availability and shift assignments with caregivers.
• Coach caregivers on a variety of issues including interpretation and administration of client care plans, company policies, procedures and new service inquiries.
• Utilize independent judgment to problem solve caregiver, client and staffing concerns.
• Support recruitment, interviewing, and on-boarding efforts as needed.
• Assist with office responsibilities, including filing personnel folders and answering phones.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have experience working as a Staffing or Scheduling Coordinator at a Home Care Agency or staffing agency
• Resilient and tenacious with a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
• Ability to influence and persuade others with confidence, integrity, and diplomacy.
• Ability to quickly establish rapport and build relationships.
• Ability to work independently and use sound judgment and discretion.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills; excellent listener.
• Exceptional scheduling skills with experience working in Wellsky
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in software applications, such as Word and Excel.

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
