Duties
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments using scheduling software.
- Manage and maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and assist with any inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with medical receptionists and dental receptionists to ensure smooth patient flow
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks as needed, such as filing, data entry, and billing
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Scheduling Coordinator or in a similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical administrative support procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- 1+ year in a clinincal setting
- Familiarity with medical records systems and patient service processes
