Scheduling Assistant Operating Room, Day Surgery - Full time

Job Description

Under supervision, organizes, prepares, coordinates and controls surgery schedule, updating procedures and processing surgery charges; performs clerical functions necessary for proper functioning of a patient care unit in accordance with Nursing Department policies and procedures.

A. Education/Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

B. Experience

• Six (6) months experience in a hospital preferred.

C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

• AHA BLS certification within two (2) weeks of employment
